Woosong University Kazakhstan continues to emphasize practice-oriented education through its Capstone Project course, where students are encouraged to identify real-world challenges and develop innovative solutions using modern technologies.

In this course, student teams select a specific problem and work through the entire development process - from research and ideation to prototyping and presentation.

This semester, students have presented a variety of creative and impactful projects, including:

One team developed an AI-powered smart waste management system designed to automatically sort garbage into appropriate categories. This solution aims to improve recycling efficiency and contribute to environmental sustainability through the use of artificial intelligence.

Another team created an AI-based smart reminder system, designed to assist users in managing their daily schedules. The system provides intelligent notifications for deadlines, tasks, and important academic responsibilities, helping improve time management and productivity.

The Capstone Project course plays an important role in strengthening students’ practical skills, including problem-solving, teamwork, innovation, and the application of artificial intelligence in real-life scenarios.
