Global Startup Center

Start-ups play a vital role in the software (SW) industry.
Woosong University Kazakhstan plans to operate a Start-up Center that will provide a wide range of support and resources to help aspiring entrepreneurs and early-stage start-ups successfully launch and grow their businesses.

Start-up education will be offered as a non-curricular program targeted at 3rd- and 4th-year students as well as recent graduates who are interested in launching their own businesses.

Start-up Facility

The 15th floor of the university building will be designated as the Start-up Center, equipped with modern facilities to support early-stage entrepreneurs.
The following spaces will be available:

  • Start-up Education Room & Small Seminar Rooms: For lectures, mentoring sessions, and workshops.
  • Co-Working Space: Open space for collaboration among start-up teams.
  • Maker Space: Equipped for prototyping, testing, and product development.
  • Small Business Working Offices: Private working offices designed for start-up teams with 4 or fewer members.
  • Shared Meeting Rooms: For formal discussions, client meetings, and project planning.
  • Relaxation Area: A comfortable lounge area to support creativity and informal networking.
  • Start-up Education and support program

    1. Operation of the Educational Program
      • Pre-Start-up Education: Training focused on discovering IT-based start-up ideas and practicing business model development.
      • Business Commercialization Program: Courses covering customer development, market analysis, investment proposal writing, and strategies in finance, legal matters, and intellectual property.
      • Global Start-up Education: Basic education on global case studies and strategies for entering international markets.
    2. Start-up Mentoring: Mentoring support throughout the preparation and development stages of launching a start-up.
    3. Networking and Communication: Opportunities for building connections and exchanging ideas with fellow entrepreneurs, experts, and investors.
    4. Incubation and Acceleration Programs: Structured support programs to help start-ups grow through technical, business, and funding assistance.
