The event took place in the university’s Big Conference Room , where selected finalist teams presented their semester-long database projects. The competition provided students with an opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge of database concepts, system design, and real-world problem-solving.
The finalists showcased a diverse range of projects across various industries and applications. Among the projects presented were a Clinic Management System, Recipe & Food Nutrition Platform, Video Game Store Database, Music Streaming Service, Personal Finance Manager, Student Dormitory Management System, Airline Ticketing System, Online Education Platform, and Movie Rental Service.
During the presentations, students explained their database structures, entity-relationship models, system functionalities, and design approaches. The projects were evaluated by designated professors based on creativity, technical implementation, database design quality, and presentation skills.
The event was organized under the guidance of Professor Rahman Ali from the Department of AI and Data Science. Through this project-based learning experience, students were able to apply theoretical knowledge to practical scenarios while strengthening their analytical and teamwork skills.
The final presentation highlighted the university’s commitment to developing industry-relevant competencies and preparing students for future careers in information technology, data management, and software development.
The event concluded with positive feedback from faculty members, who commended the students for their dedication, creativity, and technical achievements throughout the semester.
