Woosong University Kazakhstan Hosted Admissions Day in Almaty

On June 11, 2026, Woosong University Kazakhstan (WSUK) held an Admissions Day event at KAU University in Almaty. The event was attended by senior university representatives, including the Rector, Dean Jeong, Dean Kim and representatives from the Turkistan Regional Department of Education, alongside prospective students and education stakeholders.

The purpose of the event was to present Woosong University and Woosong University Kazakhstan to prospective students and provide detailed information about admission requirements, academic programs, scholarship opportunities, and study pathways in both Kazakhstan and South Korea.

The majority of attendees were students from Grades 9 and 10, with additional participation from senior students exploring future higher education opportunities.

During the session, participants were introduced to Woosong University’s global education system, international partnerships, and student opportunities. Detailed information was provided regarding academic programs, student support services, and available scholarship schemes.

The program further covered admission requirements, application procedures, English language requirements, and the advantages of studying at WSUK. An interactive Q&A session allowed students to engage directly with university representatives and receive guidance on academic pathways, scholarships, campus life, and future career prospects.

The event concluded with an informal networking session, giving participants the opportunity to communicate directly with university leadership and discuss their individual academic plans.

The Admissions Day significantly strengthened Woosong University Kazakhstan’s visibility in Almaty, enhanced collaboration with educational stakeholders, and helped build long-term connections with prospective applicants.
